Heat Pump
- Furnish and install a new electrical disconnect box with new fuses, wire, and conduit.
- Re-insulate the refrigerant lines outside and in the attic.
- Install conduit around the low-voltage wiring outside to stop sun-rot and rodent damage.
Air Handler
- Furnish and install filter base with easy-access hinged door.
- Furnish and install a new condensate p-trap with vent and clean-out stub.
- Furnish and install a condensate overflow shut-off switch.
- Purge and water test condensate drain line for proof of proper drainage.
- Furnish and install a new sheet-metal transition with flex connector to existing supply drop.
- Duct seal transition connections with low-VOC mastic.
- Seal evaporator cabinet penetrations to prevent known air leakage locations with sealing compound.
- Furnish and install a new 230v appliance cord.
Thermostat
- Configure the control to match the specifications of the equipment installed.
- Setup control for Trane remote diagnostics.
- Setup control with customer defined temperature setpoints and schedules.
- Seal wall penetration behind thermostat with sealing compound.
Other
- On-site inspection to evaluate the particular scope of work.
- Heat load calculation using Manual J software to determine capacity requirements for proper equipment sizing.
- Property protection measures using floor covers and plastic sheeting.
