The XR16 air conditioner is ideal for high temperature desert climates. It features two-stages of cooling, the first stage providing 70% cooling capacity and the second stage utilizing full capacity. This means the unit is able to stage up, providing greater cooling capacity, when extreme temperatures hit. And on milder days it operates with the lower stage to conserve energy consumption.

- Furnish and install a new electrical disconnect box with new fuses, wire, and conduit.

- Install conduit around the low-voltage wiring outside to stop sun-rot and rodent damage.
Gas Furnace and Evaporator Coil
- Furnish and install a new hanging system in the attic using high strength Unistrut, cable, and new hardware.
- Furnish and install a new secondary overflow pan with coil support rails.
- Furnish and install a new condensate p-trap with vent and clean-out stub.
- Furnish and install a condensate overflow shut-off switch.
- Purge and water test condensate drain lines for proof of proper drainage.
- Furnish and install a new sheet-metal return air plenum with a 1” fiberglass insulation liner for superior thermal resistance.
- Furnish and install a new properly sized sheet-metal supply air plenum for optimal airflow distribution.
- Furnish and install balancing dampers to provide greater control of airflow into the supply ducts.
- Duct seal connections to plenums with low-VOC mastic.
- Seal evaporator cabinet penetrations to prevent known air leakage locations with sealing compound.
- Furnish and install a natural gas sediment trap with flexible appliance connector and new shut-off valve.
